The Singapore Hardware and Tools Association was formed in 1966 as the trade association representing companies in the hardware and tools trade in Singapore. Originally called the Singapore Hardware Association, it was renamed Singapore Hardware and Tools Association in 1996 to better reflect the business nature of its members. The association aims to promote harmony among industry players and also provides networking opportunities for its members through its various activities.
